## Description

Agios Nikolaos beach is located in southern Kassandra, between Siviri and Pefkochori. It takes its name from a small church dedicated to Saint Nicholas in the surrounding area. It is one of the calmest beaches in Kassandra — not a mass tourist destination.

It is 108 km (1 hour 35 minutes drive) from Thessaloniki. The beach is sandy, about 600 meters long, with shallow waters. Almost entirely free — there are a few sunbeds in a small section, and a canteen for basic needs. There is no large beach bar, and the atmosphere is quite "untouched" compared to the more famous beaches.

Due to its relative seclusion, it rarely gets overly crowded. The clientele: those who know the area and seek tranquility, couples without children, and seniors. A good choice if Siviri or Pefkochori seem too busy for you.

For swimming: safe with shallow waters. For snorkeling: some rocky spots at the ends of the beach offer clear waters.

Nearby Siviri (2 km) has a beautiful marina and fish taverns with fresh seafood — a great option for dinner afterward. For activities, sunset cruises and boat trips to nearby beaches depart from Siviri.

Bring water and snacks due to limited facilities. Free parking is available within a reasonable distance. Best period: June-September, but worth visiting in May/October for peace.
