It's a free sandy beach with clear water, less known than the organised beaches in the area and therefore quieter. There are no facilities, so bring an umbrella, water and something to eat. The shore faces west, towards the Thermaic Gulf, and gets sun until late afternoon, with the sun setting over the sea. On days with a southerly wind there can be waves, while with a northerly the sea is usually calmer. Katergopetra, where nudism is accepted, is just 300 metres away, Elani, with its long beach and organised facilities, about three kilometres, and Myti around seven. For shopping and food, the nearest villages are Fourka, Kassandreia and Siviri, all a few minutes' drive away.
