It is the most extensive section of the coast, stretching along the sea from the village of Sykiá to the south. It is 140 km (about 2 hours and 15 minutes drive) from Thessaloniki. The beach is sandy, extending for a total of 1-1.5 km, with a shallow seabed. Pine trees and tamarisks at the back provide shade in some areas. In the busier section near the village, there are some facilities — sunbeds and kiosks. As you move towards the edges, the amenities decrease and the beach becomes more "wild." If you seek tranquility, aim for the eastern ends where the crowd thins out. It is one of the largest beaches in Sykiá and offers plenty of space even on peak days in August. The clientele includes locals, Thessalonians, and families with children due to the safe waters. For swimming: ideal with a large area of safe water. For snorkeling: moderate opportunities mainly at the rocky edges. A combined visit to the beach and the village of Sykiá is classic: morning swim, lunch at a traditional tavern with local food at reasonable prices, and relaxation in the afternoon. Sykiá is the most authentic village in southern Sithonia. In the surrounding area, there are several small accommodations at affordable prices.
