It is located on the eastern coast, 7 km north of Sarti. It is 130 km from Thessaloniki (about a 2-hour drive). It is particularly famous for the large camping site (Camping Armenistis) that operates next to it — one of the biggest in Greece. The beach is sandy, with shallow waters, stretching approximately 1 km. Pine trees at the back provide excellent natural shade — a rare advantage in Sithonia. It has been awarded the Blue Flag in most years. The beach is divided into two sections. One belongs to the camping area (accessible to non-campers for a fee of 5 euros) and is fully organized: sunbeds, beach bar, showers, and lifeguard services. The other section is free, ideal if you bring your own towel and prefer the shade of the pine trees. For swimming: safe with shallow waters, suitable for children. For snorkeling: moderate experience — the beach is mostly sandy with few rocky areas. The atmosphere is more "hippy" and relaxed compared to the more touristy beaches of Sithonia. The clientele includes families with campers, groups with caravans, and nature lovers. The camping bar hosts events with music on summer evenings. Nearby, there is also Platanitsi (1 km further north) — a smaller and quieter beach with sand dunes, offering a more "untouched" character. Parking is free at the edges. 4G coverage is satisfactory.
