## Description

Castello beach is a small cove in Sithonia, named after a structure or shape reminiscent of a castle in the surrounding area. It is one of the most picturesque yet lesser-known beaches in the region.

The coastline is sandy with pebbles in places, short in length, with shallow waters close to the shore. There is free access without official organization. A few sunbeds or a kiosk may appear on peak days, but generally, you need to be self-sufficient.

The waters are clear due to the relative isolation. For snorkeling: decent opportunities at the rocky edges with sea bream, salouvar, and octopuses. Visibility is usually 6-9 meters.

For swimming: safe with shallow waters near the shore. For children: okay with caution near the rocky edges.

Clientele: locals, groups familiar with the area, lovers of the "untouched" experience. Rarely overcrowded.

Access: via provincial roads. Some sections may be unpaved. Parking is irregular at the edges.

Bring plenty of water, snacks, towels, and sunscreen. Shade: minimal. Best time: morning or afternoon to avoid the heat.

For a complete experience, combine with a visit to a nearby village for lunch. Best period: June-September.
