The name comes from "seagull + cape". The shore is sandy with dunes and tamarisks, in a secluded setting informally established in the naturist tradition — sections "share" the beach with natural distance and mutual discretion. Completely free, with zero facilities: water, shade and supplies are your responsibility — and your rubbish leaves with you. The water is shallow and calm over a sandy bottom. Access is via the Glarokavos area's dirt tracks — the last stretch on foot. Best period: June-September, mornings being the quietest.
