## Description

Griavas Beach is a small, quiet cove in Sithonia, less known to foreign tourists. It is one of the beaches primarily familiar to the local Greeks from the surrounding area.

The shore is sandy with pebbles in some spots, about 300 meters long, with shallow waters close to the beach. There is free access without any official organization. A canteen is rare.

The waters are clear due to the relative seclusion. For snorkeling: decent opportunities at the rocky edges with bream, salema, and octopuses.

For swimming: safe with shallow waters near the shore. Kids: fine with caution near the rocky corners.

Clientele: locals, groups who know Sithonia more deeply. Rarely overcrowded — even in August.

Access: via provincial roads. Some sections are unpaved. Parking is irregular at the edges of the beach.

Bring plenty of water, snacks, towels, and sunscreen. Shade: minimal — you might find some in the rocky corners or under small trees.

For a complete experience, combine it with a visit to a nearby village for a meal at a traditional taverna. Best time: June-September, with September being ideal for tranquility and warm waters.
