The beach "Sunset" is located on the western side of Kassandra, at a point where the coastline offers an exceptional view of the sunset over the Thermaic Gulf. Its name is quite fitting — this beach is primarily known for the stunning sunsets it provides.

The shore is sandy and of moderate length. It has mostly free access, with minimal organization. There is a kiosk at the back for drinks and snacks — mainly operating in the afternoons when people arrive for the sunset.

What makes this beach special: the angle of the coast facing west and the absence of obstacles on the horizon. The sun sets over the open sea, and on clear days, Mount Olympus can be seen on the western horizon (110 km away).

For most visitors, the experience is:
- Arrive 1 hour before sunset (time varies: 18:50 in October, 20:50 in July)
- Swim or relax
- Grab a drink from the kiosk
- Enjoy the sunset
- Leave after the "blue hour" (30 minutes after sunset)

Other coastal spots in Kassandra with excellent sunsets: the Poseidon lighthouse (most impressive overall), Siviour Marina (more of a "lifestyle" experience), and Sani.

For swimming during the day: the beach is okay but not among the best in Kassandra. The real value is in the sunset. Free parking.
