## Description

Kastri is an organised sandy beach on the west coast of Sithonia, about three kilometres south of Nikiti. It has sand and a shallow seabed and is one of the most complete beaches in the area: sunbeds, beach bar, water sports and a car park.

It's a good choice for families, as the water near the shore is shallow and usually calm, and for anyone who wants a full day at the sea with everything close by. There are pines behind the sand and rocks at the ends of the beach where you can snorkel.

The beach faces west, towards the Toroneos Gulf and Kassandra opposite, so it gets sun in the afternoon until sunset, which is worth waiting for. Very close are Mikro Kastri, about 400 metres away, and Agios Ioannis, less than a kilometre, while Nikiti beach is around two. For food and shopping, Nikiti is a few minutes' drive away, and its old settlement is worth an evening stroll.
