Latoura is a small free beach in north-eastern Sithonia, about 800 metres from Ormos Panagias. The shore has sand with pebbles in places, and the water is shallow and usually calm, suitable for families with children.

There are no facilities and little natural shade, so bring an umbrella and water. Being so close to the village, it's the easiest choice for a quick swim before or after a meal at the harbour fish tavernas, or while waiting for the Mount Athos cruise to come back.

Lagoon beach and the main beach of Ormos Panagias are less than a kilometre away, and Trani Ammouda about 1.7 kilometres, if you want a bigger sandy beach with more facilities. The quietest times are early morning and late afternoon, when most visitors have gone off to eat.
