## Description

Nikiti beach stretches in front of the seaside part of the village in north-western Sithonia and is one of the most convenient on the peninsula: you can walk from your accommodation, have lunch at a taverna and go back to the sand. It has been awarded a Blue Flag.

The shore is sandy with a shallow seabed, suitable for children, and is partly organised with sunbeds and beach bars, with free sections as well. It's not the best choice for snorkelling, as the bottom is mostly sand. The village has everything you need: pharmacies, ATMs, supermarkets, tavernas and cafés.

The beach faces west, towards Kassandra, so it has sun in the afternoon until sunset. If you'd like somewhere quieter, south of the village are Mikro Kastri, about a kilometre and a half away, Kastri and Agios Ioannis — all smaller sandy beaches with pines. Nikiti's old settlement, with its stone houses, is a few minutes away and worth an evening stroll.
