## Overview

Develiki Beach is located in northeastern Halkidiki, in a small coastal settlement near Gomati. Although it is only 6 km in a straight line from Ierissos, the driving route is considerably longer — about 20 minutes via the inland road that passes through the village of Gomati.

This is a small fishing village-beach, with a character that maintains the local profile of the area rather than following the mass tourism of the rest of Halkidiki. The beach stretches for about 1 km and offers a combination of golden sand with small pebbles in certain areas.

## Access

From Ierissos: ~20 minutes by car via Gomati. From Gomati: ~7 km to the coast. The road is paved up to a point, suitable for conventional cars.

## On the Beach

The coast features golden sand with pebbles in spots. The waters are among the cleanest in northeastern Halkidiki. The organization varies: in one area, there are sunbeds, cabins, showers, and nearby tavernas, while other spots are free with a beach bar on the western side.

## Dining

In the village, several small tavernas operate with an emphasis on seafood (fishing village). Dionysos Restaurant stands out for its relaxed atmosphere and local cuisine.

## Local Tip

Develiki is suitable for those seeking tranquility rather than crowded beaches. The community has only about 40 permanent residents, meaning that even in August, you rarely encounter excessive crowds. The experience feels more like pre-tourism Greece. It pairs well with a visit to Ierissos or Olympiada for a complete northeastern Halkidiki experience.
