## Description

Psakoudia is a coastal spot on the northeastern side of Kassandra (near Gerakini), not exactly on the peninsula itself. The beach is located 85 km from Thessaloniki and about 5 km from Gerakini.

The coastline is sandy, of moderate length (~1.5 km), with a shallow seabed and a pine forest that reaches almost to the sea. It is partially organized with sunbeds and beach bars at certain points, while the edges remain free. The clientele mainly consists of Thessaloniki residents who have summer homes in the wider area and come here for weekends.

It is one of the quieter beaches in central Halkidiki — even in August, it doesn’t get overly crowded. A good choice for those looking to avoid the mass scene of Kassandra or Sithonia. The pine forest provides excellent shade, and the atmosphere is family-friendly.

It is ideal for swimming — the seabed remains shallow for 20-30 meters. Children can play safely. For snorkeling, the rocky edges to the east offer clear waters.

There are 1-2 fish taverns along the front with decent food. More diverse dining options can be found in nearby Gerakini (5 km away).

For day trips from Psakoudia: Polygyros (20 km north, Archaeological Museum), Nikiti (25 km south, Sithonia), Olynthos (25 km east, archaeological site).

Parking is free everywhere. 4G coverage is satisfactory. Best period: June-September, with peak in August but not excessive.
