"Pefkochori Beach" is the quietest, free-access stretch of Pefkochori's long seafront on eastern Kassandra — 1 km from the village centre.

Same sand as the organized part — with a bottom staying shallow for 30-40 metres — but without the dense sunbeds: towels and your own umbrellas rule here, pines shading the back.

It is the choice of those staying in Pefkochori who want to escape the centre's density — a 10-minute walk makes all the difference.

Anything you need (coffee, food, supermarket) is in the village next door, while further south Glarokavos and its lagoon make the loveliest nearby stroll.

Best time: morning for quiet, late afternoon for the golden hour with Sithonia across the water.
