It is located in northwestern Kassandra, about 30 km from the Potidea Canal and 80 km from Thessaloniki — a drive of one hour and 20 minutes. Characterized by fine white sand and turquoise waters that remain shallow for over 50 meters from the shore, this underwater feature makes it ideal for families with small children — they can play safely at a considerable distance from the beach. The beach is divided into two parts. The private side of the namesake 5* Sani Resort is accessible only to guests, featuring full amenities (sunbeds, beach service, lifeguards, beach bars). The public Sani next door is freely accessible and has nearly the same water quality — it has a Blue Flag most years, sunbeds in certain sections, and free parking. Next to the beach is a protected wetland (Natura 2000), where pink flamingos appear during the winter months (November-February). Birdwatching is ideal in the morning hours, with trails accessible from the beach. The sunset from Sani is stunning — the sun sets over the open waters of the Thermaic Gulf, and on clear days, Mount Olympus can be seen on the western horizon (110 km away). It is almost always one of the busiest beaches in Halkidiki in August, so it's best to arrive before 11:00 for a good spot. In June and September, the experience is noticeably more relaxed.
