## Description

Schoinia Beach is located in Sithonia. The name comes from the schinus trees (thorny shrubs) that grow in the surrounding area. It is a small local beach known mainly to locals.

The coastline is sandy with pebbles in some areas, of short length, and has a shallow seabed. There is free access without any facilities. A kiosk may appear on peak days.

The waters are reasonably clean. For swimming: safe with shallow waters close to the shore. For snorkeling: moderate opportunities at the rocky edges.

Clientele: local families, groups familiar with the area. Few foreign tourists.

Access: via provincial roads. Parking is irregular. Bring water, snacks, towels, and sunscreen due to limited infrastructure.

Shade: you may find a few small trees or bushes at the back. It's a good idea to bring an umbrella or sun tent.

For a meal after swimming, a short drive will take you to tavernas in nearby villages of Sithonia. The experience is authentically "local" — more of an exploration of Sithonia than a standalone destination.

Best time: June-September, with September being particularly pleasant for tranquility.
