## Description

Spathies is a small sandy beach on the west coast of Sithonia, between Nikiti and Elia, near Kalogria and Kovios beaches. It's one of the quietest beaches on this stretch of coast, with white sand, a shallow seabed and very clear turquoise water.

There are no facilities — no sunbeds, no showers — and little shade. Bring plenty of water, an umbrella, a hat and water shoes for the rocks at the ends, which are good for snorkelling. Take your rubbish with you, as there are no bins near the sand.

The last part of the access is a dirt road off the main Nikiti–Neos Marmaras road, passable in an ordinary car if you drive slowly; parking is wherever you can find space along the edges. The beach faces west, so it gets afternoon sun until the sunset over Kassandra. Kalogria is less than a kilometre away and Akti Elias around three, and for food Nikiti is the nearest choice.
