It is one of the most "untouched" beaches in Sithonia — secluded, without facilities, featuring exceptionally clear waters. It is 145 km (about 2 hours and 20 minutes drive) from Thessaloniki. Access is only via a dirt road 2 km from the main asphalt road — this difficulty in access keeps it relatively empty. The beach is sandy, white, and about 300 meters long, with a shallow bottom and turquoise waters. There are no facilities — no sunbeds, no beach bar, no showers. A kiosk may appear during the peak months, but don’t count on it. The water is so calm and clear that you can see every little fish at a depth of 5 meters. For snorkeling, it’s one of the best spots in southern Sithonia — rocky edges with bream, wrasse, octopuses, and rich marine life. Practical tips for visiting: - Bring plenty of water (2L/person), snacks, sunscreen - A hat and UV t-shirt — there’s no shade - Water shoes for sea urchins - Snorkeling gear if you have it - Take all your trash with you - Access: SUV is more comfortable, compact cars may struggle For families with small children: OK due to the shallow waters but requires preparation due to lack of services. Better as a 2-3 hour trip rather than a full day. Combine with a visit to nearby Kalamitsi (5 km) or Porto Koufo (7 km) for lunch afterward.
