## Description

Tourkolimnionas Beach is located in northeastern Sithonia, near Vourvourou. Its name comes from the "Turkish little harbor" that existed in the area during the Ottoman period. It is one of the most picturesque and lesser-known beaches in the region.

The coast is a small hidden cove, sandy with pebbles in some areas, featuring a shallow seabed. It is almost unorganized, with a rarely available kiosk.

Due to its relative isolation and difficult access, it remains quiet even in August. Its visitors include locals, groups familiar with the area, and snorkeling enthusiasts.

The waters are exceptionally clear — visibility usually ranges from 8 to 12 meters in good conditions. For snorkeling, it is one of the best spots in the Vourvourou area — rocky edges with rich marine life.

For swimming: safe with shallow waters close to the shore. Kids: fine with caution near the rocky corners (water shoes are recommended).

Access: via a dirt road from a nearby point. A compact car can manage slowly. At certain times, the road may be challenging. Parking is irregular.

Bring plenty of water, snacks, towels, sunscreen, and snorkeling gear. Shade: minimal — you might find some in the rocky corners.

The wider Vourvourou area offers several options for accommodation and dining. From Tourkolimnionas, you can easily reach the more famous beaches (Karydi, Livari, Diaporos) with a short drive.
