## Description

Valti Beach is located in the broader area of Sithonia, with its name derived from "valtos" (wetland) — referring to characteristics of the region in older geography.

The coastline is sandy with pebbles in some areas, of small to medium length, with a shallow seabed. Mostly free access, with partial organization in certain spots. There are kiosks on peak days.

It is one of the quieter beaches in Sithonia — less known to foreign tourists. The clientele consists of local Greeks and groups familiar with the area. It rarely gets overly crowded.

For swimming: safe with shallow waters close to the shore. For snorkeling: moderate opportunities at the rocky edges.

The surrounding area features a pine forest that provides natural shade in some spots. It’s a great choice for a relaxing beach day away from the crowded scene of the more popular beaches in Sithonia.

Access is via provincial roads. Free parking is available at the edges of the beach. Bring water, snacks, towels, and sunscreen due to limited facilities. You can find shade under the pines at the back.

Combine your visit with a trip to nearby villages for a meal at traditional taverns. Best period: June-September.
