## Boulitza Beach

Boulitza Beach is a small sandy cove, hidden in nature among the hills of the Athos peninsula. It is located just 1.8 km from the resort of Nea Roda, in a secluded spot between Nea Roda and Komitsa Beach.

Although close to a populated area, Boulitza retains the character of a "hidden" beach with a natural environment and limited development — making it a favorite choice for those seeking tranquility without straying far from amenities.

🚗 **Access**  
The fastest route is from the small port of Nea Roda: a paved road starts and soon turns into a dirt road, approximately 750 meters long along the coast. Although unpaved, the road is in good condition, wide enough, and suitable for all types of vehicles (4x4 is not required).

Alternatively, you can reach Boulitza on foot along the coast, about 1 km walk from Nea Roda.

🅿️ **Parking**  
Right behind the beach, there is a large, unorganized parking area (dirt). During peak times, it fills up due to the beach's popularity — it's preferable to arrive early in the morning.

🏖️ **On the Beach & Services**  
The beach is sandy with shallow crystal-clear waters, suitable for families. Changing cabins, showers, and toilets are available for all visitors. A beach bar operates, serving light food with relaxed music and a sea view. A distinctive detail: around the beach bar, there are banana trees that give an exotic character to the landscape.

💡 **Local Tip**  
Boulitza is suitable for the whole family, but it is better known to locals than foreign tourists, which keeps the crowd at a moderate level even in August. It pairs well with a visit to Nea Roda for dining and to Ierissos for shopping.
