# 7-Day Halkidiki Road Trip Itinerary

## Day 1-2: Kassandra Peninsula

Depart from **Thessaloniki/SKG airport** (80 km, 1 hour). Base yourself in Afytos or Kallithea.

- **Day 1:** Afytos (stone village with clifftop sea views), Kallithea (ruins of the Temple of Ammon Zeus, lively beach bars), sunset at Siviri beach

- **Day 2:** Possidi (lighthouse, long sandy beach), Sani Resort area (marina stroll), Polychrono for a seafood lunch

## Day 6: Ouranoupoli & Mount Athos Cruise

Tripiti → Ouranoupoli: 10 km, 15 minutes.

- Morning: Mount Athos cruise along the monastic peninsula (€20-30, 3 hours) — see ancient monasteries from the sea. Book at the harbour the evening before

- Afternoon: Prosforiou Tower (Byzantine landmark), Ouranoupoli beach, browse icon and souvenir shops

## Day 7: Mountain Villages & Return

Ouranoupoli → Arnea: 65 km, 1 hour through scenic mountain roads.

## Practical Tips
