## Description

Agios Pavlos is a seaside village on Halkidiki's mainland coast, very close to Nea Kallikratia and a very short distance from Thessaloniki. It's a calm, family option in the region's first seaside zone, with refugee roots like the neighbouring villages.

Beaches

The nearby shores — Nea Kallikratia beach, Mykoniatika and Anthoupoli — are sandy with shallow, safe water, organised and ideal for children.

What sets it apart

Its great asset is the very short distance from Thessaloniki (~30 minutes), making it ideal for a day at the beach or calm family holidays beside the city, without the crowds and the long drive to the peninsulas.

Food and life

On the beach and in the village you'll find fish tavernas, cafés and bars at a relaxed pace, with fresh fish and a sea view.

Getting there and around

It neighbours Nea Kallikratia, Nea Iraklia and Lakkoma, sharing the same easily reached Thermaic coast.

Who it suits and when

Ideal for families and Thessaloniki residents wanting the closest sea. Main season is May–September.
