Elani beach is sandy with shallow, clear water, partly organised with loungers and beach bars. It's ideal for families with children and for calm days by the sea, while nearby there are also more natural, quiet spots for swimming.
Elani offers a good balance between amenities and calm: it's close enough to the lively resorts of the area (Kallithea, luxurious Sani) but keeps a more relaxed, unpretentious character, ideal for restful holidays.
On the beach and in the wider area you'll find tavernas with fresh fish, cafés and beach bars, with a relaxed pace and a sea view.
It's about 1–1.5 hours by car from Thessaloniki, at the start of Kassandra. Very close are Kassandreia, Siviri with its famous festival and luxurious Sani — making it a good base for eastern Kassandra.
Ideal for families and those wanting an organised beach with a calm pace and easy access to more options. Main season is May–September.
