Flogita is a seaside village on Halkidiki's mainland coast, next to Nea Moudania and very close to Thessaloniki. It's one of the most easily reached seaside destinations in the region, ideal for a quick getaway.
The Plagia–Flogita beach lies right beside the village, sandy with shallow water, organised and suitable for families with children. The long coast toward Nea Moudania offers further options for swimming and water sports.
Its very short distance from Thessaloniki (~40 minutes) makes it ideal for a day at the beach or for calm family holidays close to the city, without the crowds and the long drive to the peninsulas.
On the beach and in the village you'll find tavernas with fresh fish, cafés and bars at a relaxed, family pace — ideal for a calm dinner by the water.
Very close by are Nea Moudania (a commercial centre and port), Nea Gonia and Sozopoli, while the entrance to Kassandra is just a few minutes away.
