Lakkoma is a village in the Kallikrateia municipal unit of Nea Propontida, at an altitude of about 100 metres, right above the bridge of the Thessaloniki – Nea Moudania national road. It lies inland, about 9 km from the coast at Nea Kallikratia.

Lakkoma is a village in the Kallikrateia municipal unit of Nea Propontida, at an altitude of about 100 metres, right above the bridge of the Thessaloniki – Nea Moudania national road. It lies inland, about 9 km from the coast at Nea Kallikratia.
It is a lived-in village of about 1,100 people (2021 census), not a tourist resort. Residents work in farming and industry, and the area has an industrial park that produces biofuels. Pontic and Eastern Thracian associations are active in the village, reflecting the roots of many of its families.
The nearest beaches are at Nea Kallikratia (about 9 km) and Mykoniatika — sandy, shallow and organised, suitable for children.
Its position on the national road makes it very easy to reach from Thessaloniki. Nearby are Nea Gonia (about 4.5 km), Agios Pavlos and Nea Iraklia.
Anyone who needs a base close to the road to Thessaloniki, with the Kallikratia beaches a few minutes away.
