Nea Iraklia is a seaside village in the Kallikrateia municipal unit of Nea Propontida, on the Thermaic Gulf, about 5 km north-west of Nea Kallikratia.

Nea Iraklia is a seaside village in the Kallikrateia municipal unit of Nea Propontida, on the Thermaic Gulf, about 5 km north-west of Nea Kallikratia.
The village was founded by Thracian refugees from Irakleia (ancient Perinthos) in Eastern Thrace, on the shores of the Propontis. According to the records of the Refugee Settlement Commission, they settled here on 7 July 1926, after first passing through districts of Thessaloniki and nearby villages.
The village has its own stretch of coast, with tavernas and accommodation close to the water. For more choice, the organised beaches of Nea Kallikratia and Mykoniatika are about 6–8 km away.
Nearby are Agios Pavlos (about 4 km), Nea Kallikratia, with shops and services, and Lakkoma.
Anyone who wants the sea close to Thessaloniki, in a village with a calm, family atmosphere. The main season runs from June to September.
