Although built slightly inland, it's close to the beaches of the Moudania coast (Plagia-Flogita, Vergia), with shallow water for families.
It's only ~40 minutes by car from Thessaloniki. Nearby are Nea Moudania, Sozopoli and ancient Olynthos.
