<p><strong>Platanitsi</strong> is a beautiful seaside area on the eastern coast of <strong>Sithonia</strong>, just south of Sarti. It's known for its striking, quiet beaches and wild, natural landscape with views toward Mount Athos.</p>
<h3>Beaches</h3><p><strong>Platanitsi beach</strong> and the neighbouring shores (Megalo Portokali, Achlada) have deep-blue, shallow water, pebbles and sand, and a magical natural setting — among the most beautiful in southern Sithonia.</p>
<h3>What sets it apart</h3><p>Unlike the organised resorts, Platanitsi keeps a more natural, calm character, a favourite for those wanting swimming in clear water and snorkelling away from the crowds.</p>
<h3>Food and life</h3><p>A few tavernas and beach bars offer fresh fish and a drink with a view, at a relaxed pace.</p>
