Polychrono is a popular seaside resort on the eastern coast of Kassandra, between Hanioti and Kriopigi. It combines a long organised beach with a relaxed, family atmosphere and a lush, pine-covered environment.
Polychrono offers full tourist infrastructure without the excessive intensity of the larger resorts. It's ideal for families wanting amenities, life and a calm pace in the same place.
The main beach is long, sandy and organised, with shallow water, loungers and beach bars. Very close are the shores of Hanioti and Kriopigi, widening the swimming options.
In the village you'll find tavernas, grill houses, restaurants, cafés and bars — enough for lively evenings, but with a more family character than Kallithea.
It's about 1.5 hours by car from Thessaloniki. Nearby are Hanioti, Kriopigi and Pefkochori, making it a good base for eastern Kassandra.
