Sarti ideally combines organised infrastructure with a relaxed, youthful and family atmosphere. It's lively in the evenings, but without the intense "clubbing" character of the big Kassandra resorts.
The central Sarti beach is long and sandy, with shallow water. Very close are equally beautiful shores such as Platania, Achlada and Platanitsi, with deep-blue water.
Along the seafront and in the lanes you'll find fish tavernas, restaurants, cafés and bars — ideal for dinner with a view of Mount Athos and a relaxed night out.
It's about 2 hours by car from Thessaloniki. It's an excellent base for eastern and southern Sithonia — Platanitsi, Kalamitsi, Sykia and Toroni.
Ideal for families, couples and younger groups wanting a beautiful beach with a view and a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. Main season is May–September.
