Sykia is one of the oldest and largest traditional villages of Sithonia, built slightly inland from the coast, on the south-eastern side of the leg. It preserves an authentic, rural character, with farming life and rich tradition.

Unlike the coastal resorts, Sykia is a "real" village with history, a square, a church and olive groves. It's known for its olive oil and wine, and offers a more authentic picture of Sithonia.
Sykia's beaches are among the most beautiful in the area: nearby are Sarti, Linaraki, Tourkolimnionas and Valti, with crystal-clear water and wild beauty.
In the village tavernas and on the beaches you'll taste local oil, wine and fresh fish, in a genuine, unpretentious style.
It's about 2 hours by car from Thessaloniki, in southern Sithonia. Nearby are Sarti, Toroni and Porto Koufo.
Ideal for those wanting to combine an authentic village with wild, beautiful beaches. Main season is May–September.
