Siviri is a seaside village at the start of Kassandra, very close to Kassandreia. It combines calm beaches with a lively cultural character that sets it apart from the pure "resorts" of the peninsula.
Siviri is widely known for the Siviri Festival, one of the most important summer cultural events in Halkidiki, with theatre performances, concerts and events at an open-air amphitheatre. It gives the village a distinctive, vibrant identity rarely found in a seaside destination.
Siviri's shores are sandy with shallow, calm water, suitable for families. Very close by (~5 km) is cosmopolitan Kallithea with its big beach bars, as well as Elani beach, for those wanting variety.
In the village and on the beach you'll find tavernas with fresh fish, cafés and bars at a more relaxed pace than the big resorts — ideal for calm family evenings.
It's about 1–1.5 hours by car from Thessaloniki, at the entrance to Kassandra. Its position makes it an ideal base for trips to Afytos, Kallithea, Fourka and Kassandrino.
