## Description

Athos Restaurant Bar is in Ouranoupoli, near the waterfront and the Byzantine tower. It combines a restaurant with Mediterranean cooking and a cocktail bar, so you can stay from dinner through to a late drink.

Ouranoupoli is the last village before Mount Athos; the ferries to Dafni and the cruises along the monasteries leave from here. Ouranoupoli beach is about 600 metres away, with Develiki a little further on. Entering Mount Athos requires a permit (diamonitirion), issued by the Pilgrims' Bureau in Ouranoupoli; entry is for men only.
