Sykia is built a little inland; the nearby beaches, such as Akti Linaraki and Griavas, are about four kilometres away, and the Sykia bay has several small sandy beaches that are less busy than Sarti. If you're staying there, Manhattan is an easy choice for an evening drink without driving to Sarti.
