Kassandra's west coast faces the Thermaic Gulf and is quieter than the busy villages on the east side, such as Hanioti and Pefkochori. Its great advantage is the sunset over the sea, with Mount Olympus visible across the gulf on very clear days, so the hour before sunset is the best time for a drink here.
