Xyropotamos is a small village in central Halkidiki, with around 400 permanent residents. The name comes from the local stream that dries up during the summer months ("dry river"). It is one of the quietest and least known villages in the region, lacking tourist attractions but possessing an authentic character.
Where it is located and how to get there
In central Halkidiki, on the outskirts of Polygyros. It is 72 kilometers (1 hour 15 minutes by car) from Thessaloniki.
It is possible to reach it by KTEL via Polygyros, but a car is more practical.

Xyropotamos does not have tourist attractions. It is an agricultural settlement with:
