Bousoulas Beach is a small local cove located in southwestern Kassandra, less known to foreign tourists. It is one of those beaches primarily known by locals and those who have summer homes in the wider area.
The coastline is sandy with small pebbles in some spots, stretching about 300 meters. It is almost unorganized — there may be a few sunbeds or a snack bar on the busiest days, but generally, you need to bring your own supplies.
Due to its small scale and lesser publicity, Bousoulas remains quiet even in August. The clientele consists of local families and a few who have summer homes nearby.
The waters are clear due to limited usage. For snorkeling, the rocky edges of the cove offer interesting opportunities — you can spot sea bream, wrasses, and octopuses at depths of 1-3 meters.
Bousoulas is a good "alternative" if the more popular beaches of southern Kassandra (Paliouri, Siviri) are crowded, or if you seek absolute tranquility. However, it is not suitable for a full day — the limited infrastructure makes a 2-3 hour stay more practical.
Bring plenty of water, snacks, towels, and sunscreen — there is no guaranteed access to these items on site. Snack bars may appear on peak days, but don’t rely on them.
Access: via provincial roads from the nearby town. Parking is available at the edges of the beach — it fills up quickly during peak times.
The beach is located in Μπούσουλας, Κασσάνδρα, Kassandra, Halkidiki.
