Kallithea beach is located in the center of the village of the same name in eastern Kassandra, 90 km from Thessaloniki and 25 km from the Potidea Canal. It is one of the busiest and fully organized beaches in Halkidiki, often awarded the Blue Flag.
The sand is fine, the water is shallow for 20-30 meters, and the coastline stretches for about 1.5 km into and around the village. It has full amenities: sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, lifeguards during summer hours, water sports (jet ski, banana boat, parasailing), and many beach bars along the front.
It is right in the village — you can walk from your accommodation, have lunch at a tavern by the beach, enjoy coffee at a café, shop at the sidewalk stores, and return to the beach. This connection between the beach experience and village life is its main advantage.
A notable attraction next to the beach is the archaeological site of the Kallithea Thermal Baths — an ancient sanctuary dedicated to the Nymphs and Dionysus. Remains of a 4th-century BC temple are preserved. It is open to visitors for a small fee.
Kallithea boasts the liveliest nightlife in Kassandra — beach bars that transform into clubs at night, cafés open late, and several nightclubs.
For families with small children, the quieter hours are from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. After 12:00 PM, it gets crowded, especially in August. Free parking is available at the edges of the village, with paid parking closer to the beach front (3-5 euros/day).
Wonderful beach! The thermal springs nearby are worth visiting.

Very well organized, but expensive.
