Elani Beach

Elani beach is on the west coast of Kassandra, between Siviri and Sani, below the settlement of the same name. It's a large sandy beach with a shallow seabed that continues for quite a few metres, which makes it suitable for families with young children, and it has been awarded a Blue Flag.

Part of the shore is organised in front of the hotels, but a large stretch remains free, so you can bring your own umbrella. Pines behind the sand give shade in places, and at the ends there are small rocky corners for snorkelling. It has none of the bustle of the big resorts on the east side, so it suits anyone looking for calm.

The west coast faces the Thermaic Gulf, so in the evening the sun sets over the sea. Katergopetra and Agios Nikolaos are about three kilometres away, while Sani, with its marina and wetland, is around six. For shopping and food, Kassandreia and Siviri are the nearest options.
