Sani

Sani is the most luxurious destination of Kassandra, on the western side of the first leg. It's not a classic village but an organised, high-quality tourist area, known internationally for its services and natural beauty.

Sani is famous for its luxury resort and marina, as well as the Sani wetland — a Natura area ideal for birdwatching. On Sani Hill stands a medieval tower with panoramic views.

Every summer the international Sani Festival is held, with jazz and world-music concerts that have established Sani as a cultural destination.

Beaches

Its beaches, such as Sani and Bousoulas, are among the most beautiful and cleanest in Kassandra, with white sand and shallow, turquoise water.

Getting there and around

It's about 1.5 hours by car from Thessaloniki. Nearby are Nea Fokaia, Elani and Kassandreia.
