To Ellinikon

To Ellinikon is a seaside taverna in Hanioti, on the east coast of Kassandra, looking out over the Toroneos Gulf. The cooking is traditional Greek, with grilled meat, oven dishes and meze, at mid-range prices, and reservations are accepted.

Hanioti is one of the liveliest villages on Kassandra, with a long sandy beach and a pedestrian street full of shops. From the east coast you look across at Sithonia, and on clear evenings the lights of the villages opposite make a lovely backdrop to dinner.
