Chrousso Beach

Chrouso is a sandy beach at the south-eastern tip of Kassandra, near Paliouri, about two and a half kilometres from the village. It's a long shore with sand and clear water, backed by pine forest, and one of the favourite beaches of anyone staying in the southern part of the peninsula.

Some sections have sunbeds and beach bars, while there's plenty of free space for those bringing their own umbrella. The bottom is sandy and slopes gradually, and the sea is usually calm in the morning. There are campsites in the surrounding area, which makes it popular with people on nature holidays.

Glarokavos nudist beach is about two and a half kilometres away and Golden Beach around three, while the Glarokavos lagoon, with its moored boats, is on the way to Pefkochori. For shopping and food, Paliouri is the nearest village, with tavernas, a bakery and a mini-market. In August, parking near the sand fills up early.
