Kalandra is the village "behind" famous Possidi — and the secret of those who want the cape without the coastal prices: a lively village among olive groves, two kilometres from the sea, with real life and altogether gentler tariffs.
The beaches
- Possidi (2.1 km): The long sandy beach with the sand spit and the 1864 lighthouse — shallow calm water on the inner side, a sunset ritual in the evening.
- Myti (3.8 km): The free, more secluded alternative.
- Agios Nikolaos (6.6 km) towards Fourka for an even more local scene.
All options: beaches near Kalandra.
Things to do

- Village stroll: Kalandra has real kafeneia and a bakery — buy your breakfast here before heading down for a swim.
- The west coast: Fourka and Siviri within 5-10 minutes for beach and dinner variety.
