Tsaska Beach (also known as Banana Beach) is located on the island of Ammouliani, just 1.3 km from the central settlement of Ammouliani. It is a small natural cove, "hidden" among dense reeds and olive groves, featuring crystal-clear turquoise waters and fine golden sand.
🚗 **Access**
Ferry from the port of Tripiti (Uranoupolis area): ~15 minutes. Route Thessaloniki → Tripiti: ~2 hours by car. From the port of Ammouliani to the beach: ~1.3 km. Hiking or driving within the island — the road is paved up to a certain point, then a path.
🏖️ **On the Coast**
The coast is small but picturesque, with calm waters and a gentle seabed. The dense reeds and olive groves provide an "exotic" feel that is rare in Halkidiki. Due to its sheltered location, the waters are particularly calm and suitable for swimming even on windy days elsewhere in the area.
🍹 **Services**
The beach has slightly organized sections and a beach bar (Banana Beach) serving snacks and drinks. It is not fully developed — it maintains its natural profile, with limited sunbeds and umbrellas.
💡 **Local Tip**
Tsaska is one of the most photogenic beaches of Ammouliani, ideal for those seeking a different, "island" experience in Halkidiki. Combine your visit with Kalopigado and Alykes to cover the best beaches of the island in one day. Since access is only by ferry, the crowding is relatively limited even in August.
The beach is located in Τσάσκα, Χαλκιδική, Mainland Halkidiki, Halkidiki.
Tsaska is a free/unorganized beach.
Tsaska is a free beach without sunbeds. Bring your own umbrella!
Tsaska beach has a rating of 3.5/5.
