Kristina Beach lies in southeastern Sithonia, on the coast between Sykia and Kalamitsi (~4.5 km) — an organized "oasis" on an otherwise wild shoreline.
The shore is sandy, of moderate length, with a shallow bottom and clean water. It operates as a beach bar/club: sunbeds, umbrellas, drinks and food — in a more laid-back, bohemian register than Kassandra's big beach clubs.
It is the choice for those who want southern Sithonia's seclusion with the comforts of an organized day — perfect for couples and groups.
In August the front-row sunbeds go early. Around it, free Tigania and Prassou await those who prefer a towel on an empty shore.
Best period: July-August for the full beach-club experience, June and September for the same sea with half the sunbeds taken. The drive here — the Sykia-Kalamitsi coastal stretch — is a reason to visit in itself.
The beach is located in Kristina Beach, Καλαμίτσι, Sithonia, Halkidiki.
Kristina Beach is a free/unorganized beach.
Kristina Beach is a free beach without sunbeds. Bring your own umbrella!
