Platanitsi Nudist Beach

Platanitsi nudist beach is on the east coast of Sithonia, a little north of the main Platanitsi beach and about five kilometres north of Sarti. It's a small, secluded sandy beach where nudism is accepted and common.

There are no facilities at all — no sunbeds, no snack bar — so bring an umbrella, water and anything else you need. Access is by dirt road and footpath, which keeps numbers low and the beach quiet. The water is very clear, with a shallow sandy bottom close to shore, and the view across the water is the Athos peninsula.

The coast faces east, so mornings bring sun and usually calm sea, while the wind can pick up in the afternoon. Respect other bathers' privacy and don't take photos. Portokali and Megalo Portokali beaches are less than a kilometre away, and for food and shopping the nearest village is Sarti.
