Kryopigi is a coastal village in southern Kassandra, located between Palouri and Kallithea. With around 800 permanent residents, it maintains the character of a family-friendly holiday destination — quieter than the larger centers of Kassandra (Kallithea, Hanioti), but with decent infrastructure. The name comes from the "cold springs" in the area — several underground waters that bubble up on the surrounding slopes.
Location and How to Get There
In southern Kassandra, 16 km south of Kallithea. It is 115 kilometers (1 hour 40 minutes drive) from Thessaloniki.

The Beach
The Kryopigi Beach is sandy, with a shallow seabed and a pine forest that reaches almost to the sea. It is approximately 2 km long. It has a Blue Flag most years.
