Halkidiki's beach bars are some of the most evolved in northern Greece. Beyond just a place for a cocktail under an umbrella, many run as full day-to-night destinations: opening with coffee and smoothies at 9 AM, serving solid lunch menus, switching to beach parties with DJs in the afternoon, and closing with sunset cocktails or late-night events. Kassandra (mainly Kallithea, Hanioti, Pefkochori) has the most popular, cosmopolitan venues — Sithonia (Vourvourou, Nikiti) is more relaxed but equally high quality. Morning 9:00-12:00: Brunch + fresh juices, quieter, good for couples or solo travellers. Midday 13:00-16:00: Lunch, fewer crowds. 17:00-20:00: Cocktail hour with a DJ, peak atmosphere. 20:00 onwards: Either relax mode (Sithonia) or party mode (Kassandra weekends). Season: May-September. The bigger beach clubs open in June and close around September 20-25.
