Discovering Komitsa Beach

**Komitsa** is a beach near Nea Roda, next to the northeastern borders with **Mount Athos**. In fact, there are two beaches separated by rocks: one smaller and one very large.

The Smaller Komitsa

The smaller Komitsa is 800 meters long and wide, with coarse sand. It features a beach bar and some luxury villa complexes by the sea. The road to this beach is paved and starts from the end of Nea Roda.

The Larger Komitsa

The larger Komitsa beach is about 2 km long. It is suitable for those seeking **solitude** and **tranquility**, as there is only one beach canteen in the middle. There are no other facilities and the rest of the beach is empty.

The sand is coarse, with many shells, and the water is blue and clear. You can reach this beach via a dirt road that starts from the smaller Komitsa.
